Dr. David Horvath’s Credentials and Experience

Dr. David Horvath is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He earned his Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed a general surgery residency at Geisinger Medical Center, as well as a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Indiana University Medical Center. He then undertook an extended fellowship in cosmetic surgery in Miami, Florida, where he learned from and trained under some of the most world-renowned surgeons.

During his fellowship in Florida, he developed a special interest and skill in all aspects of facial cosmetic surgery. After completing his training, he helped to build a regional surgical program in plastic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and participated in the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship Program, teaching residents the newest techniques in aesthetic plastic surgery.

Dr. Horvath’s learnings from leading innovators in the field followed him to his own plastic surgery practice, where he helped thousands of patients achieve their cosmetic goals for the face and body through all aspects of both aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. His specialty in cosmetic surgery evolved in breast surgery, including augmentation, reduction, lift, and particularly, the revision of prior augmentation. He also specialized in body contouring surgery, performing the latest techniques after bariatric surgery. His reconstructive interests involving breast reconstruction and reconstruction after skin cancer removal always focused on obtaining the most aesthetic possible reconstruction.

Dr. Horvath has valued a conservative approach to preserving and enhancing natural beauty throughout his plastic surgery career. He has always followed the advancements in the non-surgical cosmetics industry, and over the last several years, began to notice how much of the surgical interventions he was performing could actually be handled through non-surgical treatments. In response to this industry shift, Dr. Horvath retired from plastic surgery to focus solely on the non-surgical advancements and treatments in Cosmetics and Wellness. He operates his own concierge aesthetics and wellness practice in King of Prussia and will be splitting his time between Philadelphia and Scranton.
